my only wish is that the new juhu wrapped jaikus instead of abbreviating them with . . . i dislike having to widen juhu so much to read the whole line. am i missing something here?

facebook is an interesting social platform, and i love open, but i might rather try to license bebo for in-house use. it has some interesting features too. i just have to really see which is closet to my use case.

let me note that jaiku also finds and imports the flickr feed within a few minutes of updates, but never my blogger feed. if that helps. . .

I think the director has a balanced view. Admiration that she has given up her whole life to what she believes is her duty to her country; pity for the suffering that her single-mindedness has caused her and her family; and compassion for how she has not been able to change herself even as the times have changed about her.
I think it's the last point that makes the Queen tragic, and applicable to us all. Aren't we all sometimes prey to a rigid sense of self-righteousness? Flexibility, humility, and remembering not to sacrifice our family to our ideals are lessons for everyone, yes?
